It’s with great excitement that my Australian friends try to wrap their head around the Swedish Pizza. The pizza above is the Famous Vulcano pizza! It’s 6 pizzas in one plus french fries and salad!
The secret of a Swedish pizza is as paradox as the Swedish pizza itself! The Swedish pizza can’t be made by us Swedes, because we are completely clueless and the pizza will end up looking like this. 
So the secret is that the Pizza is made by Italian immigrants, that couldn’t be further away from the truth. In my humble opinion, Italian people don’t really make great pizzas.
The secret of the Swedish lies in the movement of people from the Mediterranean countries that settled in Sweden in the 90s and they opened up their famous Pizzerias. The blend of the Italian pizza and the Mediterranean food culture created the world famous Swedish Pizza. They added things like Kebab meat, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, olives and much more! They also always made the pizza base from scratch using a recipe that even to this day is totally secret.
Another secret is the Pizza salad, it’s amazing!! It’s a crunchy marinated cabbage that is so addictive that you just can’t stop eating it! Some Pizzerias even have a smorgasbord of it and you can eat as much as you like!!
The next famous thing they have is the Kebab rolls, they have kebab meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and GARLIC sauce!!! It’s just amazing!!
My Swedish friends get sick of me because my obsession with the Swedish Pizza and I want to eat it all the time when I’m back home! They are like SVEN NOT PIZZA AGAIN!!! And I GO OHH YEAH EVERY DAY IS PIZZA DAY!!!
